The past couple weeks i have been blogging about television, and Ive learned a lot by doing this. Ive learned you can NOT copy and paste from different websites....its illegal. And Ive learned that its kinda hard to find things to blog about, so you have to do a lot of research. Its been really fun doing this blog, i don't watch television but reading the reviews for fun its pretty cool. Doing this blog was a good experience.

Rosie O'Donnell getting honey boo boo a new house

   Rosie O'Donnell is trying her best to get in touch with as many people as possible to pull this thing together. She is trying to get honey boo boo and her family a new house. But honey boo boo's family has declined.

  Yet, Rosie hasn't given up, she is contacting home depot, home make over, ec. just to get this thing running.

7 Year Old Gets A Bodygaurd

     Toddlers and Tiaras, a reality T.V. show about toddlers whose moms who go a little over board with playing "dress up" then sends those toddlers off on stage, where they strut up and down the floor and sometimes do routine dances. These girls get judged on their looks, personality, and what they do. Then the judges decide who won. These girls can be found on TLC everyday at 2:00 pm.



   You have all heard of the new star right? If not, Honey Boo Boo a 7 year old girl who participates in this show, Toddlers and Tiaras, has became the biggest sensation lately. There have been mixed reactions to the show with some viewers calling it exploitative and some calling it the best thing in the reality TV show circuit. There has been some threats of people wanting to kidnap the 7 year old. This resulted in her mother getting a 24/7 bodyguard to ensure the safety of her daughter.

  according to CP Entertainment Honey Boo Boo's house was broke into Aug. 27 while her and her family was away.

  "Actress Rosie O'Donnell has offered to purchase the family a new home." said Sami K. Martin , Christian Post Contributor. "I love 'em all," she recently told People magazine. "I'd love to meet them and buy them a house."

  The Tompson family might be in need of a new residence but for now, they are staying put. should they move? or should they just stick with the body gaurd and say the threats will soon go away?

"Walking Dead" may become the top-rated scripted show on T.v.

  

 The Walking Dead, which airs on AMC every Sunday, may soon be considered the top-rated scripted show on T.V. The Walking Dead's season 3 premiere that premiered on Sunday "broke audience records for basic cable dramas by scaring up 10.9 million viewers" said Tim Molly, a writer for Yahoo. That's not all, it also thrived in the 18-49 age demographic, most important to advertisers.

   Did anyone think then that a zombie comic crossed with a rebranded movie network would spawn one of television's biggest hits? A show that also happens to be incredibly violent and gory? Sunday's premiere began with a close-up of a clouded zombie eye, and ended with a man getting his leg sawed off with no anesthetic.

   So, as long as they keep the ratings and viewings up, they will make it to the top-rated scripted show on T.V.

Revolution

     "Revolution, makes others shows look small-time" said NBC.

     Revolution takes place in a post-apocalyptic dystopian future. 15 years early an unknown phenomenon disabled all technology dependent on electricity on the planet, ranging from computers and electronics to car engines, jet engines, and batteries.

      People were forced to adapt to a world without functioning technology. Due to the collapse of government and public order, many areas are ruled by warlords and militias.

      The series focuses on the Matheson family, who possess a special device (a pendant-like flash drive) that is the key to not only finding out what happened fifteen years ago, but also a possible way to reverse its effects. However, they must elude Sebastian Monroe, the General of the Monroe Militia and President of the Monroe Republic who wants to possess that power for himself.

The opening introduction.
       "We lived in an electric world. We relied on it for everything. And then the power went out. Everything stopped working. We weren't prepared. Fear and confusion led to panic. The lucky ones made it out of the cities. The government collapsed. Militias took over, controlling the food supply and stockpiling weapons. We still don't know why the power went out. But we're hopeful someone will come and light the way."

Little Shop of Gypsies

 

There is now a new show about the wonderful life of gypsies an travelers, "Little Shop of Gypsies" is the new show on TLC about gypsies and their dress making. The show premiered Thursaday, Oct. 11 at 10, there will be a new show every Thursday at 10pm.
The previous show from this was "My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding" which was a big hit, then followed by "My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding".

For those who don't know, these shows are mainly about English, Irish, Romanian Gypsies and Travelers, and there big extravagant weddings. The shows also go into a bit of there lives and shows the customs and traditions.
Part of their traditions is for when girls have a celebration they wear these massive extravagant dresses.
This show now is with Thelma Madine, one of the biggest dress makers for gypsies and travelers.

She now has created this show where she will take 10 travelers and gypsies, and for 6 months she will take them in her shop and teach them how to make the dresses.

At the end she will pick 2 girls and hire them full time, but for the girls to stay here, they will have to come show up, be committed, learn and get along with the other. Which might not be as easy for them.

Well in the first episode there is already drama and complaining, two girls have already gotten in a fight by poking each other with pins.

This is going to be a long road for Thelma Madine, but she is determined to do this for them.

     "A former teen pageant princess featured in a eye-brow raising episode in "Wife Swap" is getting charged with prostitution and drug possession." said MSN's news article

 

   The 21 year-old Alicia Guastaferro will be "pleading not guilty to her past charges of prostitution and drug possession,"  said Guastaferro's lawyer. She had told troopers that a man two years ago had found her in Niagara Falls bar tending and had made an offer to spend the night and sleep with him and he would pay her $500-$700 a month. According to documents, the charge of drugs were prescription medicine found in her purse that night.

   She had also received charges with initially lying to troopers about her name and age. Her appearance on a 2008 episode of ABC's "Wife Swap," recorded when she was 15, made her an instant target of ridicule at school and sent her into psychiatric care for post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, an eating disorder and panic attacks.Guastaferro is known for saying things like "I do feel sorry for people that are not gorgeous people" and being spray-tanned by her father were staged and that she was told to "act a little more spoiled."

   "The lawsuit was settled last year, but the terms are not disclosed," commented Nathan Siegel, who represented the network.

The Big Bang Theory is Back !

Last night the start of season 6 of The Big Bang Theory premiere, it picked up right where it left off, Sheldon "dating" Amy, Howard married Bernadette and then went into space, Leonard had proposed to Penny, and Raj is still Raj

Recap of last nights episode, Howard fighting with his mom and Bernadette about how he and Bernadette want to move into their own apartment. Even from space he still fights with his mom.

Sheldon and Amy go out to diner for there Anniversary, Amy was not very happy that Sheldon brought along Raj. Towards the end of diner Amy had made Raj leave, leaving Sheldon and her alone. After a small argument and she demanded for more, when Sheldon said nothing, she was about to leave, but Sheldon called her back and he told her he needed her ... for a ride. In the end Amy asked for something from his heart or she was out of the relationship. Sheldon quoted Spider Man to her and although they weren't his words he still meant them.

As for Leonard and Penny, Leonard proposed to Penny and was shot down, don't blame her the proposal was not very romantic. Things are awkward between the two and when Leonard tries to fix it with Football and, beer it doesn't that Raj came over to make things worse by asking Penny to tell Leonard the she loves him, which she doesn't.

In the end Raj ended up at the comic book with Stuart, the only two how are alone. After a bit of them two dancing Raj asks Stuart to hang out after. So I'm guessing Stuart is now going to be part of the main cast.

NFL lions vs. 49ers were the top most ranked in the week of Sept. 10th. followed along by the show, 60 minutes on CBS. on Monday the Voice came in third. and Football NT. Pt. 3 came in fourth. on Tuesday the voice also came in fifth, and on Wednesday America's got talent followed along in sixth. in seventh place was the Voice again on Wednesday. on Thursday America's got talent came in eight. the last two consisted of Go On and NCIS.

Emmys 2012 Recap

 

Sunday night at the 64th Annual Emmy Awards, there were three shows that came on top of the rest. Those shows are Modern Family, Homeland Season 1, and The Daily Show.

Modern Family is still on top for comedy Emmys with four awards, including best series for a third time.

Homeland, Showtime’s drama, won the Emmy award for top dramatic series and three other honors, ending the four-year streak for AMC’s Mad Men. 

The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,  received its tenth consecutive Emmy for Outstanding Variety Series, the longest streak in Emmy history.

  Guys With Kids review.

 

 

        Aired at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12 (NBC), is a new comedy based on men taking care of their children because of the absence of their wives.

 

    With the reviews we have taken, most people consider it "unfavorable" or "boring". People got bored with it within the first 10 Min's. Some called it a "snooze fest".

 

    It's an intelligent strategy on paper, but unless the shows themselves are intelligent, well, the paper might be better used to line changing tables for the babies.
